Fund-raising Fee Structure

Resource / Activity Rate
Facility Standard rate: Base $1/attendee plus potential $2/attendee bonus for maximum of $3 per attendee

See Volunteer Duties: Host Facility for a list of volunteer duties expected by host site
Volunteer Coordinator Standard rate: 50 cents per actual attendee

If insufficient volunteers are provided or not available when needed, payment will be withheld pending negotiation of a pro-rated amount plus a small punitive fee.

Judges Standard rate: Free food from concessions plus $25 toward your designated scholastic chess organization.

Deductions:

  • Prorated to amount of time judging rounds

  • Sell tournament-quality chess sets
  • Sell chess souvenirs
  • Provide on-the-spot digital photographs for winners

See Tournament Organization to discuss opportunities. Only non-profit promotions of chess organizations will be allowed. No "self-enrichment" will be permitted.

All concession space must be arranged with and by permission of the host facility.

 

Notes: Priority for fund-raising will be given to the clubs who provide the greatest number of participants.
